PvP Event?

I'm thinkin' about havin' a PvP event.

Like a tournament.

I'm thinking we'll have two branches. 1 vs. 1

and then a team of 2 - 4 vs 2 - 4. Or maybe a team MVP match, but I understand that some guilds are just way too strong and would wipe mvp after mvp and etc.

I dunno, I wanna have your opinions first.

I'd probably give you a week in advance to gather gear and such.

Planned Server Downtime
Posted on Thursday, February 25, 2010 09:09 PM by Irruga
FusionRO will be down on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 3:30PM. The estimated downtime will be ~2 hours. The hoster is migrating our Nix (Unix) box to a more stable environment for us. In order for this process to go through the server has to be down. While the server is down and the host is working on the migration I will be working on a quick maintenance for us. I wanted to give you guys a heads up so we know what's going on! Thanks again everyone!

PS: I plan on reviewing the GM applications again tomorrow. I've been caught up all this week with personal things but I have been reading through the applications! Hopefully tomorrow I can get down to business!

FusionRO's moving!

After the recent turn of events around the server (from crashes to database corruptions), I've finally decided to move. We have built up somewhat of a decent amount of money to buy ourselves a host. I found a really good host that will host our entire server for us at a great price! Our webhost unfortunately was only a webhost, and can't support the server itself. The subscription doesn't run out until about July 2010 but I decided I couldn't wait that long as now we have been feeling bumps of lag here and there.

To better support you guys, I figured we all deserved a treat and so I got us a private hoster! It was fun and quick to support the host from my network but at times it can be rough without backups such as an UPS (back battery) and many other things on the hoster computer (Which I don't have). I've been debating on if I wanted to buy the supplies or just get a host. In the long run it was cheaper to just get the hoster. The webhost will stay where it is and the server will be hosted on our new hoster. Once the webserver subscription is up I'll port the entire website to our new host!

As to when the transition will take place I can't say, but it will be hopefully by the end of this month! I've got GM applications to run through and stuff so hopefully we can do it all at once. I plan on opening a few fun donation items up for players so we don't rely on just the Level 1 and 2 donation status'. Remember now donations will support us in anyway now that the entire server will not be hosted by me anymore! Thank you all for giving Fusion support and hope our community will grow even greater!

Regards,
FusionRO Staff.
